So..My First Time in India, actually it was more tourist. I was with a friend and we had to meet two more in one ashram in Haridwar. At the Delhi station we became fishes for the great indian players.
We lost about eight hours until we found the train station and attempts to leave Delhi. And It was Sooo hard..as everyone come to play with us and try to get some money. Incredible liars, incredible stories, incredible India :) I think there was a movie for the indian scammers..

Rishikesh. The city where spirituality is on sale. Actually it is a good place for a first time visit. Many foreigners and places where they can feel comfortable. Internet, No spicy food, English everywhere, hotels, shops. You can find a yoga centers in every corner, where you can stretch your body and learn a peace of yoga practice, but it is more commercial. Actually I participated some practices with Usha Devi, who is a student of B.K. S. Iyengar. She is very precise and strict and can play with your ego, which can be very interesting and confusing at the same time, because she is not the yoga teacher, who you can expect. Actually I liked Rishikesh - very easy going place You can feel the culture but not going too deeply in it. |

Haridwar and the Babaji's Ashram. Haidakhan Wale Baba established this beautiful Ashram between 1970 and 1984. Amazing place, where you can really feel the energy of this spiritual person. I wish I will go again sometime.
